Canceling my dental plan last year sounded like a great way to save money. I was already trimming things from my budget that I didn’t need, so I might as well have let that go too, right? You guessed right…I broke a tooth on a chicken bone and I couldn’t afford the bill from the dentist because I didn’t have insurance. I couldn’t believe that happened, and I was desperate for cash to pay the bill so I could just save up for the next few months while I pay a loan back or something. After getting denied loans in San Bruno, Millbrae, and Hillsborough, I had no other choice but to apply for a car title loan. It was pretty easy because I just had to fill out an application online and pick up my cash at their affiliate location when I got off work that same day. The loan was more than the bill, so I only took out that much to pay the dentist. Now I just have to save up every day, and be careful of those bones with my new tooth.
